The Parents’ Association helps foster an enthusiastic and committed environment through committees that produce several events and programs throughout the year.  Some events even help raise funds to supplement the school programming and materials beyond what the budget allows.

With the help of you, our parents, the following committees make our children’s nursery school experience a memorable one

Parent Association Committees:

-       Shabbat In A Bag: Every Friday your child can bring home all the supplies to celebrate Shabbat. Chairperson needed for this Committee

-       Class Parents: Each class has two class parents. This is a great way to get involved in your child’s nursery school experience.  In this role, you will be the parent liaison between your child’s classroom, the administration and the Parents’ Association.  They lead the class in getting class gifts during Hanukah and the end of the year.  Parents also play an important role in the emergency procedures by helping communicate information through the class phone tree system. This is a lot of fun but requires a bit of a time commitment.

-       Family Buddy Program:  New parents to the school are introduced to a parent who has been in the school who will serve as an experienced guide to answer any questions you may have. Chairperson needed for this Committee

-       Mitzvah Munchkins: This Committee organizes two to three projects each year in which both parents and children can be involved in community service. This is in addition to weekly classroom Tzedakah collection held each Shabbat.  Chairperson needed for this Committee

-       Fundraising:

-       Grandparents Shabbat: We open our doors to our Grandparents and extended families to share with them the wonderful …………….. Chairperson needed for this Committee

-       Special Events: The PA plans three to four special events for the preschool each year.  Some events include a welcome back party and an end of year picnic. We also try to plan at least one parent workshop. We are open to suggestions for activities and speaker topics. Chairperson needed for this Committee
